The Saga of the Coat on the Floor, Part 2, or “What she did…”

What Zoe did:  She paid her brother $4.80 to hang up her coat for her.  Wow.  Just wow.

The deal went down before I got home.  By the time I walked in the door, the coat was gone, and the cash had changed hands.

See what I mean about that girl?

  1. Since reading Part 1 I’ve been wracking my brain as to how this would get resolved, Karla. Never in a million years would I have guessed that was how it was going to go down! Just goes to show, though, that it had been on her mind just as much as it’s been on yours. She owned the situation, came up with the resolution, and it worked! She’s one smart cookie, that’s for sure! I’d say, move on without mentioning it at all! I enjoy reading your blog very much.

  2. Whoa, how did I miss this? I have to say, Zoe is kind of a genius. That was a very outside-the-box solution to the problem. And I agree that you’re probably best off not mentioning it.

I’ve added you to my google reader so I won’t miss any big news like this again. 🙂

    • Thanks, Jerry! Yeah, I was really relieved to find that she had “taken care of it” before I got home that day, even though I thought the solution was a little outrageous!
